Waiting to Fly Home

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving Day! We are having some serious cold weather here, no rain yet. I here that’s a good thing! I have been checking out some of these blogs here in my spare time, people that draw and sketch, WOW they are amazing, and I can’t get enough of them. Truly remarkable people out there with such talent! My favorites are ‘Striving to be Delicious’ by Seamas Gallagher in the Bay Area of the West Coast, and ‘Got Cheeks?’ by Sean Galloway another one in the Bay Area of the great North West Coast. OH, How I miss the West Coast. Everything here is going good; the bad guys are controlling them selves, and NO outgoing ‘Cold Steel’! Nothing much going on, that is a GOOD thing!
I found a picture I hope you enjoy it, I have lost more weight; boy is that a good thing must be the food here, (it’s not that great). The days here are very short and very cold.
But it beats 120 degrees any day. Well its back to the grind, take care and be safe!

Only so many more days till I fly home!

My Kids

To my three Beautiful kids, I miss you terribly.

I think about you day and night. I can't wait to see you when it's time to call this quits. The weather here is getting cooler, I have to wear a jacket some days. I look foward to your e-mails. Be good for your mom.

I love you!

Iraq, 4 weeks and counting!

Hi guys I changed my blogger address thing; it wasn’t what I wanted at that time. It’s been almost a month here in Iraq. The food here is not so bad. I have to watch what I eat or will gain all that weight I lost in Africa. I sort of miss Africa, but not the humidity. We did a few blast outs, but no in-coming. I love that. I am looking for someone who can draw me a Dragon. I want to get a small tattoo. I miss everything about home. But the adventures are a once in a life time for me, and I am grasping it with both hands, and holding on tight. Everyone take care.

Travels

To my family and friends, around the world I am. I am presently in Iraq.I got to ride in one of the Blackhawk helicopters, (it was awesome). I am doing great. It’s a lot cooler here, 134 today, with no humidity (yeah). This is a pretty good camp; I like it a lot better then where I was at. I get to stay in a trailer and I have to share a bathroom, but if this means I don't have to get up in the middle of the night and walk two minutes to the bathroom then I am ok with that. The food here is not that bad, it is better than Djibouti! And I have lots of places to choose from on where I want to eat. We have Burger King, Popeye Chicken, Taco Bell and Cinnabon. Not bad! The PX here sucks, although it is bigger than Djibouti. You have to drive everywhere you go here, things are far and spread out, this is a huge camp. It puts Djibouti to shame. Hey Christopher there are a lot of rocks here, maybe I will send some home to you, ok sweetie! It's nice not to hear the flight jets take off, and it's so quite here. To everyone in Oregon or Washington I am 13 hours ahead of you. (Bizarre)Well I must get back to my job, everyone take care and it sure would be good to here from all of you. Lots of Love, and I miss all of you!
Hi to all I know and don't know.
